Our research focused on the lived experiences of older people who are self-funding. We also spoke to family and friends who were providing support to older people, as well as social care providers, care workers, social workers and people who work in local authorities. We have produced resources based on what they told us. These include research briefings, case studies, research findings which can be used in training, learning, developing practice or just to raise awareness about the many issues that self-funding raises.
